CTAN resolves to make registration compulsory for all technical graduates

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 13 (MExN): The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) during its general meeting held at the NSF conference hall on November 9 has resolved to make registration compulsory for all technical graduates in their own respective associations without which they will not be allowed to appear for NPSC CTE exam. 


A press statement issued by CTAN media cell said the reason for compulsory registration was to restrict contract appointments and also “reject those candidates who do not cooperate with their respective associations.” 


Towards this, all associations would be going for mass registration drive (old/new) to prepare list of candidates which would be forwarded to NPSC before December 21, 2019 for necessary actions, the press statement said. 


It was also resolved to write to all departmental heads under Nagaland government with an appeal in written to provide information on posts lying vacant, filled through contract, ad-hoc/fixed and those vacancies which are likely to be vacated in the next 12 months. 


The meeting was attended by Forestry Graduate Association of Nagaland (FGAN), Computer Science & Information Technology Association of Nagaland, Civil Engineers Association of Nagaland, Agricultural Engineering Graduate Association of Nagaland, Association of Electronics & Communication Engineers of Nagaland, Graduate Electrical Engineers Association of Nagaland, Horticulture Graduates & Students Association of Nagaland, Association of Mechanical Engineers Nagaland and Nagaland Medical Graduates Association. 


Meanwhile, the CTAN expressed its heartfelt gratitude towards the incumbent NSF executives in their efforts and pursuance for setting up Staff Selection Board in Nagaland.
