DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 17 (MExN): North East NAMASTE States Swachh Bharat Mission Committee’s brand ambassador for Nagaland L. Shaupen Phom has appointed district-level brand ambassadors in the state. As per a press release issued by Phom, Dr Sukhato A Sema will take charge of Zunheboto and Dimapur, John Lohe – Phek, TK Khesang – Tuensang, Ngaiching and K. Bashing - Longleng and Kilentola – Mokokchung. M. Hamlong Joseph and Manshen have been appointed as Media and Press Secretaries, it was informed.
The 8 NE states - Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Tripura have been clubbed as the NAMASTE states by the Swachh Bharat Mission’s National Brand Ambassador, Nagaland Governor PB Acharya. Phom was appointed as an Ambassador of the North East NAMASTE States Swachh Bharat Mission Committee representing Nagaland.
The Swachh Bharat Mission aims to achieve a Clean India by October 2, 2019 – 5 years after its inaugural launch in 2014 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
