DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) — Prosecutors are pushing for the death penalty for the man accused of killing an 11-year-old girl in North Alabama.
Amberly Barnett had been reported missing back in March in DeKalb County.
Her body was found behind Christopher Madison's home in Collinsville, Alabama. The investigation found that she died of strangulation.
Madison is charged with capital murder in her death. The case now heads to a grand jury.
