Winter Wonderland Prom

Saturday, December 14 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at 2540 Sutro Street, Ste 4.

  • The Ballroom of Reno is hosting a adult prom this year to raise funds to support Awaken Inc and their endeavors to rescue women out of human trafficking and The Ballroom of Reno to support local community programs, such as Dementia Friendly.

A Comstock Christmas Carol

Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Piper's Opera House located at 12 N B St, Virginia City

  • A Comstock Christmas Carol is the classic story by Charles Dickens, but with historical characters, set in 1860s Virginia City. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for kids ages 4-12 (children 4 and under are free).

4th Annual Damonte Ranch Circle of Lights

Saturday, December 14 at 5:30 p.m. at 1950 Steamboat Parkway

  • Come to the brightest event in town! Food Trucks, holiday movies, raffle, live nativity scene, music by Quedup, and Santa Claus! Bundle up and come see the beautiful holiday lights around the walking path.

Ginderbread Festive Contest

Saturday, December 14 at Wilbur D. May Museum at 1595 North Sierra Street

  • Vote for your favorite gingerbread creation and enjoy holiday music performed by local choral groups and musicians.

Pajama Train for kids with health concerns

Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15 at 4 p.m.

  • The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City is holding a special train ride for children who are battling cancer or those with compromised immune systems, those opportunities aren’t nearly as great.

Santa Crawl (21 and over)

Saturday, December 14 at downtown Reno

  • Thousands of Santas will descend upon downtown Reno to enjoy good food, good spirits & yule-tide cheer!

Christmas Village and Toy Drive - Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • The Lear Theater is hosted a Christmas street fair complete with live music, pictures with Santa, crafts, food trucks, hot chocolate and more.
