Free children clothing drive to be held in Carson City

CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A local women’s service organization of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is hosting their annual clothing drive on Saturday, July 27 in Carson City.

Free clothing for school-age children will available to the community from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 411 N. Saliman Road thanks to the Relief Society.

The drive was made to assist families in Carson City and the surrounding communities to obtain clothes for school.

If you would like to contribute to the drive, donations of new or clean, gently used clothing for children are accepted. Clothing donations may be dropped off on Friday, July 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 411 N. Saliman Road in Carson City.

The event focuses on school-aged children Kindergarten to Grade 12.
