Fall is in full affect this weekend and so is many fun activities that the entire family can enjoy.

If you're looking for something fun to do with the family here is a list of events going on in the area this weekend -- October 19 and 20, 2019.

South Lake Tahoe Bijou Bash

Saturday, October 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bijou Park

  • The event will take place out at Bijou Park and will include food trucks, games, face painting and live music from the band “Front Porch.”

Run for Education event at Legends

Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Outlets at Legends

  • Brought to you by the non-profit Education Alliance of Washoe County, the Run for Education event supports WCSD students and schools through the Kids in Motion (KIM) program for P.E., student wellness, and nutrition. More than 3,000 runners and 8,500 attendees are expected.

All Hallows’ Eve

Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Fort Churchill State Historic Park.

  • This family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities including harvest games on the museum lawn, a scavenger hunt around the fort ruins to earn treats, hay rides, and pumpkin carving and scarecrow building contests.

Harvest Train Festival

Saturday, October 19 to Sunday, October 20 at Carson railroad museum

  • The family can enjoycarnival-style games, a pumpkin patch, the Snap Wagon Photo Booth, Kona Ice Hawaiian Shave Ice, the West Coast Railroaders Group and their speeders, train rides and more.

27th Annual Carson City Ghost Walk

Saturday, October 19 at The McFadden Plaza located behind the St. Charles Hotel on Curry St. in Carson City.

  • The Ghost Walk is a delightfully entertaining and enjoyable way to experience Carson City’s Victorian Era and diverse history. Hear about lingering spirits of the past centuries, haunted and paranormal stories, meet characters and tour historic homes and businesses along the tour.

Day Out With Thomas: The Steam Team Tour 2019

Saturday, October 19 to Sunday, October 20, Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 to Sunday, October 27 in Virginia City

  • For two back-to-back weekends, little engineers and their families are invited to take a 25-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends fun with crafts, photo ops, and more.
