Nevada's win over Wyoming and Michigan's loss to Penn State was enough to leap-frog the Wolf Pack up one spot in Monday's AP Top 25.
Nevada moved to No. 6, one spot shy of the program record set earlier this season. The Wolf Pack's win over Wyoming was its 10th straight, marking the first time Nevada has had two double-digit win streaks in one season (it opened the year with 14 straight victories).
Duke moved to No. 1 and garnered 58 of the 64 first-place votes. Second-place Gonzaga, which beat Duke earlier this season, received the six other first-place votes. Virginia came in third, Kentucky fourth and Tennessee fifth. The Volunteers fell from No. 1 after a lopsided loss at Kentucky.
At 24-1, Nevada has the third-most wins in the nation behind Gonzaga (25-2) and Houston (25-1). The Wolf Pack is one of only two teams in the nation with one loss. Houston, which is ranked ninth this week, is the other. Here is this week's complete Top 25.
