BUNKERVILLE, Nev. (KSNV) — Northbound Interstate 15 has reopened after it was closed for a crash and diesel spill early Friday morning, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The crash was reported just after 3:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at mile marker 111, near Riverside Road.
NDOT warned commuters to expect major delays, saying there was "a major diesel spill" that kept the highway closed for much of the day.
NDOT reported around 1:30 p.m. Friday that the travel lanes had reopened. Vehicles were being diverted to the shoulder, but traffic backed up for miles.
