Gas line break reported in Spring Valley neighborhood

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Crews are on scene for a gas line break in a Spring Valley neighborhood Monday morning, according to a SW Gas spokesman.

The break was reported in the 4400 block of Fernbrook Road, near Rainbow Boulevard and Flamingo Road, said Stephen Miller with SW Gas.

An electrician used a ground rod and hit a pipeline under the concrete, Miller said.

The utility's technicians are digging to make repairs, he said, but there's no estimate on a time for repairs and whether there will be any outages.
