Journey Conference brings teachers from around the nation to Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The all-day gathering of 500 online English teachers took place Saturday, July 13, at the JW Marriott, bringing educators from all over the country to listen to keynote speakers and participate in workshops.

Hosted by the education tech company VIPKid, the Journey Conference was also attended by CEO and Founder Cindy Mi, encouraging attendees to share experiences and improve their online teaching skills.

Workshops covered topics like Chinese culture, calligraphy, online connections with students, building digital presence and more.
