Skyler Holloway, a Green Valley High School graduate, ran 100 kilometers, or 63 miles, from the Welcom to Las Vegas sign to the summit of Mount Charleston to raise money for the Goodie Two Shoes foundation.

Holloway, who worked for Facebook for six years before quitting his job to "travel the world and inspire," finished the run in 15 hours.

"With so much negativity and uncertainty today, I hope that by running I can inspire others to seek-out ways to challenge themselves and also help others," Holloway said. "Some of the most gratifying moments in life are when you accomplish big tasks, but also when you are able to contribute to those around you. "

News 3 spoke with Holloway about his adventure.
