LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A U.S. District Attorney announced Thursday that a Las Vegas man who pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison.
According to court documents, 53-year-old Randall Ervin Vernerable met an individual four times in March of 2018 and sold them a total of a half-pound of meth. After the fourth sale, authorities arrested Vernerable and seized nearly $3,000.
While executing a search warrant, detectives found methamphetamine, marijuana, heroin, cocaine, and two digital scales at his home.
Detectives also say they found 2 semi-automatic handguns with ammunition along with more than $6,000 in cash and a "owe sheet".
In April, Venerable pleaded guilty to several drug counts including distribution of methamphetamine, one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin, and one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
The case was investigated by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department with the Department of Homeland Security.
