Major traffic delays on I-15 at Primm heading toward California

Traffic is currently backed up 13 miles at Primm on the I-15 southbound. (NDOT)

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — UPDATE 4:00 PM| The backup is now at least 15 miles with speeds averaging roughly 20 miles per hour.

ORIGINAL| The day after Christmas is infamous for the heavy traffic between Las Vegas and California.

As of 3:00 p.m. on the backup for southbound traffic is up to 13 miles.

Take alternate routes if possible.
