NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Families are invited to join Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown for the 8th annual Reading Rainbow in the Park.

This free, family-friendly celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at Valley View Park, 2000 Bennett St., North Las Vegas.

Reading Rainbow helps to support and promote literacy in our valley. Every child will receive free books donated from the local business community.

The event also will feature free food, games, live entertainment and prizes.
