LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Wind took down five power poles in the Indian Springs area Sunday night, according to NV Energy.
The utility shared a photo on social media Monday of one pole on its side over a dirt road.
Crews are working to repair all of the damage and restore power to all customers, according to NV Energy.
Power remained out for nearly 500 customers in the Indian Springs area going into late Monday morning, with restoration expected by 1:15 p.m.
A High Wind Warning is in effect for Southern Nevada. The wind knocked out power for thousands of NV Energy customers on Sunday and disrupted some flights at McCarran International Airport.
