UPDATE, March 21 | The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the woman killed as 22-year-old Megan Campbell of Torrance, California.

Campbell died from blunt force head trauma, and her death has been ruled an accident.

Impairment and speed are not believed to be factors. The crash remains under investigation.

This is NHP Southern Command's 10th fatal crash this year, with a total of 11 deaths.

ORIGINAL | The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the U.S. 95 near Indian Springs around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20.

The single-vehicle crash involved a Toyota 4 Runner with three occupants.

According to NHP, the car had drifted left and the driver overcorrected right, causing the vehicle to roll over before coming to a rest in the center median.

The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other two passengers were transported to UMC Trauma with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the female victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office once next of kin has been notified.
