The parking plan for the new Las Vegas Ballpark has been unveiled Monday, a little more than two weeks away from opening day.

The Howard Hughes Corporation, which owns the park and the Las Vegas Aviators, says free parking will be available in three designated lots.

Cars will be directed to drive via Town Center Drive to get into the lots - one to the east of the ballpark, one to the southwest and one to the south.

An overflow lot is also on the west side of the Downtown Summerlin shopping area, with an enhanced walkway connecting Downtown Summerlin to Las Vegas Ballpark.

Traffic control will be in place to help with crossing Pavilion Center Drive before, during and after events, according to Howard Hughes Corporation.

Opening Day at the new ballpark is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, as the Aviators take on the Sacramento River Cats.
