LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Howard Hughes Corporation is looking to use vacant space near Downtown Summerlin for as many as 20 outdoor events.
In a petition filed with the Clark County Commission, the company proposes using the space around Las Vegas Ballpark for several commercial events, like theme nights and holidays.
The permit would let Howard Hughes hold up to 20 events, including some that could last longer than 10 days, along with live entertainment.
It would use vacant, undeveloped property to the northeast, east and south of the ballpark.
County commissioners are scheduled to discuss the application at their meeting Tuesday evening.
