LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — According to a new report, Nevada is the 4th fastest-growing state in the nation for vacation home growth since the 2008 recession.
The Silver State experienced 51% growth over a 12 year period since 2009.

Only Montana, Mississippi and Idaho beat Nevada for vacation home growth and no state experienced a net loss of homes.
Researchers looked at vacation home data from 2009 to 2017 from the Census Bureau.
A vacation home is considered any unit that is “vacant for seasonal, recreational, or occasional use."
