SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS/WRSP) — Two men are facing felony charges for alleged vandalism.
Springfield Police arrested Matthew Hill, age 22, and Joshua Edwards, age 23, Thursday.
Both are being held on $100,000 bond for the charge of criminal defacement.
The two men are accused of at least 18 incidents where they spray painted graffiti on buildings, historical sites, churches, and other property throughout Springfield causing an estimated $10,000 in damages.
Springfield police say the arrests came from months of investigation.
