Oklahoma City, Okla. (KOKH) — The Devon Ice Rink traded in ice skates for rubber soled shoes on Saturday morning.
Members of the Oklahoma City Curling Club spent part of their morning teaching people the art of the sport.
With the basics being taught a necessity, having fun while doing it was also a priority.
The event has been going on since late November and has only one class left.
It does cost $25 for nonmembers of the curling club to sign up, and $20 for those who are members.
There is one class left on Jan. 18, starting at 9 a.m.
People who sign up are required to bring their own rubber soled shoes and to bundle up. All other equipment is provided.
