More help is available for small businesses in Oklahoma City impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The city has announced a new program that will provide COVID-19 disaster relief.

The program is called the Urban Renewal Authority Small Business Grant.

Businesses with five or less employees can apply for the grant, and will be eligible for up to $10,000 in aid.

Businesses must be located in a designated urban renewal area to apply.

The Oklahoma City Council voted April 28 to approve the $400,000 program through the Oklahoma City Urban Renewal Authority, which will provide funds to some of the smallest local businesses in low- or moderate-income areas.

Grant funds may be used for future payroll, rent or mortgage, utilities, business equipment, inventory, small business training, technical assistance and other necessary business expenses.
