NORMAN, Okla (KOKH) — Medical marijuana became legal in Oklahoma back in June of 2018 but Oklahoma has risen to the top of the list when it comes to the number of dispensaries.

Verilife looked at dispensary listings from more than 600 cities and put together a list of the top cities and states with the most marijuana dispensaries per capita.
Norman ranked 7th with 14.1 dispensaries per every 50,000 residents.
They're not alone though, Oklahoma has nine cities within the top 30 rankings, the most of any state.
Oklahoma is home to the second most dispensaries per capita and generated $70,000 in tax revenue.
