OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH)--According to a study by WalletHub, Oklahoma is No. 25 for states that need the most financial help as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
In order to come up with their findings, the study compared all 50 states across 18 different metrics, ranging from each state's rainy day fund per capita to state and local debt per capita.
According to the study, Oklahoma is No. 28 for state financial rank and No. 21 for health and employment landscape rank.
However, the study did put Oklahoma in the top five for states with the lowest preparedness for a severe recession.
The study showed Louisiana being the state in need of the least help and Iowa the state who needs the most.
