Police chase ends with vehicle crashing into SW Oklahoma City home

UPDATE: Officials have identified the driver as 30-year-old Kendrick Jarvis.

Jarvis was taken to the hospital to be checked out and then was booked in jail on the following complaints:

  • Malicious injury and destruction of property
  • Eluding a police officer
  • Driving with suspended license
  • Leaving scene of motor collision
  • Unsafe lane change

Jarvis is currently being held on $7,000 bail.

One person is in custody after a vehicle crashes into a home following a police chase overnight.

An Oklahoma County Sheriff deputy and Oklahoma City Police attempted to stop a vehicle for making an illegal lane change on I-40 and I-44 just before 10:00 PM Tuesday.

The suspect drove off and crashed into a home near SW 29th and Newcastle Road.

The person ran off but was found nearby.

No one was injured.
