Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here today predicted rainfall in several parts of Odisha from March 13.
As per the latest weather report of IMD, light rainfall and thunderstorm are likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Baragarh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nuapara, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Rayagada and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on March 13.
Similarly, light to moderate rain and thunderstorm is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north interior Odisha and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha on March 14.
Besides, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind are likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of north interior Odisha and Nayagarh and Kandhamal districts on March 14.
Moreover, light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha on March 15.
Besides, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Angul districts on March 15.
