Sen. John McCain's tweet clears up boot confusion: It's on his left leg

Is his left foot or right foot injured? Or is there an image flip going on?

Twitter was aflutter over the issue, and in his Thanksgiving Day tweet, U.S. Sen. John McCain clarified that the boot was, indeed, on his left foot.

Still confused? Yes, he switched the boot from his right leg to his left.

Photos released on McCain's Twitter account after his daughter Meghan's wedding on Tuesday show a boot on the senator's left foot.

Earlier this month, in two tweets from Washington, the boot was on the Arizona senator's right foot. His office reported at the time the senator had suffered a minor tear in his right Achilles tendon.
