Opening delayed for Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs near Scottsdale

Kids will be able to take stationary and walking dinosaur rides.

Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs said Wednesday its grand opening has been rescheduled to Dec. 12.

The Scottsdale attraction was previously scheduled to open Nov. 24.

Officials did not provide a reason for the delayed opening.

Anyone who has purchased tickets for days and times before Dec. 12 will be able to reschedule a visit using the ticket, according to a press release.

Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs is an indoor dinosaur attraction and interactive educational center that takes visitors back in time to the dinosaur age. It features more than 50 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, fossil excavations, face painting, balloon art and more, the press release stated.

The attraction is located at 9500 E. Via De Ventura, on the Salt River Reservation east of Scottsdale, next to OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland and Dolphinaris,
