Springfield branding and marketing firm Longitude LLC scored a touchdown with a new contract secured in Las Vegas.

Longitude announced in a news release this week it was chosen to be the official branding agency of record for the planned Pro Football Hall of Fame Restaurant Experience in Las Vegas. Doug Pullman, Danny Tarkanian and Dave Jacoby, the restaurant’s owners, are partnering with the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, on the development.

“With over 2 million residents, 42 million visitors annually, and as the home of [the] Raiders next year, Las Vegas [is] uniquely suited and ready to become the sports capital of the world. And, on the heels of the NFL’s 100th anniversary season, the opening of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Restaurant Experience will be a truly exciting and historic moment for sports fans everywhere,” Longitude Chief Marketing Officer and co-owner Jeremy Wells said in the release. “We’re honored to be a part of this project.”

Per the contract, Longitude is working on creating the restaurant’s brand identity, as well as leading brand strategy and marketing efforts. A website and promotional video is part of the work. Terms of the deal were undisclosed in the release.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Restaurant Experience is scheduled to open in fall 2020. It also will serve as an event center and professional sports museum.

Locally, Longitude is helping restaurant owner Omer Onder rebrand his Springfield Diner concept, a process that’s been documented by Springfield Business Journal. Other clients have included pizza franchise Slice Factory and Big Mama’s Kitchen and Catering, both in Chicago, downtown Milwaukee beer hall Glass + Griddle, and Bodrum Mediterranean Restaurant in New York City’s upper west side.
