Sporx have exclusively reported Swansea City are prepared to reduce Andre Ayew’s redemption clause if the Ghanaian international decides to stay at Fenerbahce.

Ayew is currently on loan with the Turkish side for the season which can be made permanent in the summer.

Sporx say Swansea City are ready to lower the redemption clause for the attacker, an amount which is currently set at €12m.

With it looking likely they will remain in the Championship for another season, it seems the player won’t return to the Liberty Stadium in the summer.

It’s reported both sides recently met, and Swansea City officials informed Fenerbahce they are willing to lower their price. The Istanbul club will reportedly map out their plans for next season and will make a decision over Swansea’s proposal at the end of the season.

The 29-year old reportedly has some admirers from China and Saudi Arabia but it seems he wants to stay at Fenerbahce beyond this season.

Ayew has played 32 games for the Super Lig side this season, scoring 5 goals.
