Aadhaar to be valid proof at RTO

AHMEDABAD: The road transport department has in an order announced that Aadhaar card will now be considered as a valid additional document for address proof. The Aadhaar card will be considered as an additional proof for registration of vehicles. If the card has the date of birth mentioned, the RTO will also consider Aadhaar as proof of date of birth.
