Phoenix Market City becomes the first mall to use commercial natural gas service

BENGALURU: Phoenix Market City in Mahadevpura became the first mall in the city to get connected with natural gas supplied by Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) with nearly 32 food outlets in the mall serving food cooked on Piped Natural Gas (PNG) – a nature friendly and convenient fuel.
GAIL Gas Limited has signed an agreement with the mall for 1500 standard cubic meters of gas supply per day (SCMD) for connecting its commercial food outlets with the nature friendly PNG fuel.At present, around 800 SCMD of PNG is being utilised by the mall.
The advantages of commercial natural gas service includes increasing efficiency of restaurants and improvement of customer experience, high quality food, fast and uninterrupted cooking along with use of nature friendly and safe fuel like PNG.
