MoU signed between ISF College of Pharmacy-Niper

The Moga based ISF College of Pharmacy (ISFCP) has signed an MoU with Mohali based National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Niper) for updating students about latest developments and to give them chance to study at their centres.

This MoU was intended for collaborative research to find out ways where both institutes can work together for betterment of society.
MOGA: The Moga based ISF College of Pharmacy (ISFCP) has signed an MoU with Mohali based National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (Niper) for updating students about latest developments and to give them chance to study at their centres. A seminar on “Collaborative Efforts of Pharmaceutical Science for Society” was also organized on the occasion at ISFCP.

The MoU was signed by Parveen Garg, chairman, ISFCP and Prof. Raghuram Rao, director, Niper, Mohali in the presence of Dr. Savina Bansal, dean (R & D), Dr. RK Bansal, dean (student welfare).
This MoU was intended for collaborative research to find out ways where both institutes can work together for betterment of society. A delegation of scientists and 50 researchers under leadership of Professor Raghuram Rao, director, Niper, Mohali visited the Institute.
Prof. Rao gave the detailed account on various activities of Niper for benefit of society. Two scientists Dr. Amit K Goyal and Dr. Guaram Rath of ISFCP were felicitated with cash Prize of Rs 1.5 lac each on account of transferring a technology to industry. Parveen Garg, chairman, ISFCP mentioned that ISFCP has been working for past more than three decades in providing education to the society and reiterated the commitment of becoming center of excellence in pharmaceutical sciences and research. Dr GD Gupta, director, ISFCP narrated about the achievements of Institute.
During the seminar the hard copy and online version of “PharmAspire”, an official journal of ISFCP was released. Editors of the journal Dr. RK Rawal, Prof. MS Rathore and Dr. Upender Nagaish, reiterated the commitment to maintain the quality standards of the journal.
The parties signing MoU were mutually agreed to work hand in hand in the area of Green World, Diabetes Risk Screening, Water impurity analysis and availability of clean drinking water to society. Dr RK Narang, vice principal, ISFCP extended his vote of thanks and complete function stage coordinated by Arpandeep and Seema Brar.
