Special train from Kanyakumari to Santragachi

To clear the extra rush of traffic towards North Eastern states caused by disruption of train services due to flood, Railways will operate a special fare special train between Kanyakumari and Santragachi on Thursday.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: To clear the extra rush of traffic towards North Eastern states caused by disruption of train services due to flood, Railways will operate a special fare special train between Kanyakumari and Santragachi on Thursday.
Train No.06905 Kanyakumari – Santragachi special fare special train will leave Kanyakumari at 11 pm on Thursday and reach Santragachi at 9.15 pm on Saturday.
The train will travel via Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Coimbatore, Katpadi, Renigunta, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam.
One AC 2tier, three AC 3-tier, ten Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two Luggage-cum-brake van coaches is the composition of the train. The train will have stoppages at Nagercoil Junction, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagram, Srikakulalm Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijilli and Kharagpur.
The advance reservation for the train will be begin at 8 am on Wednesday.
