PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Animal rescuers released two young hawks in Providence on Wednesday.
The red-tailed hawks were born on the smokestack next to Rhode Island Hospital. But they glided down from the nest and ended up on busy Dudley Street.
The state Department of Environmental Management rescued the baby birds earlier this month and rehabilitated them.
The fledglings were reunited with their family.
