Meeting to be held on Rhode Island airport's master plan

(WJAR) — A public meeting has been scheduled to gather input on the master plan for Rhode Island's main airport.

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation will hold a master plan open house from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday in the board room at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick.

The master plan focuses on development to accommodate the predicted demand at the airport over 20 years.

The airport corporation says the federal funding is tied to the availability and timeliness of such plans by airports, so it's critical for this major Rhode Island transportation asset.
