Police: Two-vehicle crash in Providence sends 3 children to the hospital

Police in Providence are investigating after a two-vehicle car crash sent four people, including three children, to the hospital.

Officers responded to the intersection of North Main Street and Doyle Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the two vehicles involved were a sedan and an SUV.

According to Providence police, there were four people in the sedan who were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said two people were in the SUV. They didn't suffer any injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
