(WJAR) — Health officials in Rhode Island reported one additional COVID-19 death and 97 new cases on Thursday.
Rhode Island’s death toll is now at 1,019.
The Rhode Island Department of Health has confirmed a total of 20,240 cases.
The department is reporting a 2.3 percent positive rate for the day before.
Currently, there are 80 individuals hospitalized because of COVID-19.
Of those hospitalized, 10 are in the ICU and four are using ventilators.
The three-day average of individuals hospitalized is 87.
