MASON COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) -- It was a weekend to remember for one Mason County farm, even beating the odds.

On Friday, one of the cows at Larsen Farms in Scottville had female triplets!

According to the farm and dairy experts, this is a very rare occurrence.

Studies show the odds for healthy heifer triplets being born ranges from 1 in 100,000 chances to 1 in 400,000.

Some experts argue there could be a 1 in 2 million chance.

The farm said all the babies and the mom are doing just fine and healthy.

The third was born still in the embryonic sack; handlers helped get her out so she can breathe, that's how she was able to survive.
