(WACH)- Spring Valley's Sutton Murray can seemingly do it all. Murray, a central midfielder for the Vikings girls soccer team, is known as one of her team's leaders, and her team looked to her when their season was cut short.

"It was sad to have it cut short," Murray said. "But we definitely made some really good memories in the short time that we had."

With a 5.14 GPA, Murray will study biochemistry at Davidson College beginning in the fall, as her academics are just as important to her as her results on the field.

"I feel like Davidson just had all the things that I wanted from a small school," Murray said. "I've always really liked science and math so that's why I decided to focus on that."

That's not all when it comes to Sutton Murray.

She's also heavily involved in the community. She began a soccer camp for special ed students last year and also volunteered with Meals on Wheels and her church.

"Just knowing that at 8 or 9 o'clock in the morning you'd already done something that was actually significant to someone other than yourself is cool," Murray said.

"She's very motherly," Spring Valley girls soccer coach Jamie Brindel said. "We joke that she's the mom of the team. She's just very caring towards other individuals."

While her senior campaign didn't end the way she'd hoped, the future for Sutton Murray is indeed very bright.
