Free health services available in Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. — The Healing Hands Health Center in Bristol, Tennessee is hosting a free health fair.

It runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. for two consecutive days starting Wednesday, October 9th.

The fair is open to the public and free to anyone even if you don't have health insurance.

Although, you must make an appointment to see a doctor.

The health center says no appointment is necessary if you're only getting blood work, but you can't eat for 12 hours prior to your visit.

The services being provided are:

• PAP Smears
• Prostate Exams
• Spirometry (Lung Function)
• EKG (if medicially indicated)
• Chest X-Rays, Mammograms (Oct. 9th)
• Hearing Tests
• Hepatitis A shots
• Cholesterol, Blood Sugar Tests
• Blood Pressure Checks
• School and Sports Physicals
• Wellness Education
