Criminal history of man suspected of killing relative on Trenton Drive revealed

WEST PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — The man the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) is searching for in connection to a fatal shooting in West Pensacola has a criminal history.

Jredreck Vonshia Reese has been arrested twice in Escambia County.

Once he was arrested in 2016 on gambling, cocaine possession and marijuana possession charges.

Reese was arrested again in 2018 for allegedly resisting an officer and marijuana possession.

Deputies are now searching for Reese after a man was shot in the neck on Sunday, ultimately killing him.

ECSO confirms with Channel 3 News the man shot was a relative of Reese's.

He is wanted for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
