ALBANY, Ga. (WFXL) — All through the week, various cities throughout the state are celebrating Georgia Cities Week.
The city of Albany is participating with events happening every day.
On Wednesday, April 24 there will be a lunch in the plaza.
Then on Friday, April 26, there will be a taste of Front Street Market on Front and Pine avenues.
Albany Mayor Dorothy Hubbard says the week gives them an opportunity to let citizens know how they can help make Albany better.
"We want our citizens to know just what it is we do, what kinds of services we offer and it just gives us an opportunity to share information," said Hubbard.
