Person of interest in Albany homicide case picked up in Leesburg

A person of interest in the shooting death of 24-year-old Jontavious Price has been captured.

Albany police say that 26-year-old Jamarious Wright was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department Sunday afternoon.

Wright was wanted on two other charges according to APD, but those were not released.

Wright is being held at the Lee County Jail but it has not been released when he will be transferred to the Dougherty County Jail.
