Victims identified in deadly New Hampshire fire

NORTH HAMPTON, NH (WGME) -- A 23 year-old man and a 1 year-old boy have been identified as the victims in Friday night's deadly fire in North Hampton, according to the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal.

The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victims as 23 year-old Benjamin Fauteux of Hillsboro, NH and 1 year-old Emerson Quinonez of North Hampton. Their deaths have been ruled 'accidental' due to smoke inhalation.

According to investigators, the exact cause of the fire has not been determined yet.

In wake of the deadly fire, the State Fire Marshal's Office is reminding homeowners of the importance of having working smoke alarms and to have a home fire escape plan.
