Dancing Stars of Central Georgia introduces local star cast

MACON, Ga. -- One of Middle Georgia's biggest events of the year is already underway.

The 2020 Dancing Stars of Central Georgia is set for May, but on Thursday the local star cast was introduced.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter hosts this fundraiser, now in its ninth year, to benefit the support and research of its organization.

Dancing Stars of Central Georgia is much like the television show. Midstate residents pair up with professional dancers in a one-night competition.

Fans can vote online for as little as $1 before the big night, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter.
