A Conway man died following a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon in Scotts Hill, North Carolina.

WWAY, the ABC affiliate in Wilmington, reports 32-year-old David Larue Froschauer was driving northbound on Highway 17 on his 2003 Yamaha when 46-year-old Tamara Fosdick, of Wilmington, made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, causing the bike to strike the passenger side of her Mercedes SUV.

North Carolina Highway Patrol says Froschauer was thrown from the motorcycle and died from his injuries.

Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash, however, Fosdick has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
