Man brings high-powered rifle into Georgia grocery store during dispute

ATLANTA, Ga. (WGXA) — A man frightened customers at a Georgia grocery store when he entered cursing and carrying what police call an assault-style rifle.

FOX 5 reports that it happened because of a dispute between the unidentified man and the shopowner.

According to the report, the merchant said the man owed him $10. The man disagreed.

Surveillance video shows the man inside the store arguing and then moments later returning with the rifle and a warning the grocer to say nothing else about the money.

No shots were fired. Customers reportedly ran from the store during the incident.

Police say they are trying to locate the man and seize the gun.
