Final week of Notre Dame spring football practice

Tomorrow morning (Thursday), Notre Dame will hold its 14th practice of the spring.

Brian Kelly met with the media following the team's workout this past Saturday and expressed satisfaction with several players, who he identified as having good springs.

Among them is QB Ian Book.

Here's what Kelly says he wants to see from his team over the last two practices of the spring.

"We have a high bar,” said Kelly. “We played for a championship last year. The expectations here are to play for championships and so a sense of urgency next week individually to continue to work on their individual crafts. Let's not worry about other players and other things except their development, continuously in the weight room, their technique, how they fit within the 11, and then their preparation. Really just focusing on themselves these next few and then really have a competitive spring game."

The Blue-Gold game is this Saturday, April 13 at 12:30 p.m.
