This week, West Virginia Northern Community College students have had a chance to get some major help -- all while staying in their cars.

The college held a drive-through registration event at all three campuses where students could register for classes, speak with financial aid officials and meet with counselors.

Though it was a different experience and organizers say it went even better than expected.

"It has actually gone tremendously well,” said Bonnie Peterman, division chair, Allied Health Program. “We were in Weirton Tuesday, new Martinsville on Wednesday and Wheeling on Thursday. We've been very steady with traffic flow and getting everyone in. It's been great."

Anyone who didn't make it to the drive through event can still get help by heading to wvncc.edu and making an appointment.
